Maxim Coffee Mix x Minions Campaign
2022




Maxim is Korea's leading mixed coffee stick brand, running a summer collaboration with the Minions 2 movie IP scheduled to be released in line with the advertising time. Using Minions' trailer and toolkit, I created a key visual that emphasized cute Minions characters and pop spin art with mix coffee stick, and maximized exposure by creating synergy by releasing digital short film and various OOH materials at the time of release.




Execution
I created typography and graphic design that matched the key colors and designs of Maxim Coffee Mix stick line-ups: Mocha Gold, White Gold, and Supreme Gold. Also I was responsible for creating and retouching image variations to suit various Korean OOH media and movie theater banners.

Result
Target sales volume of 1,500 tons SOLD OUT.
As the goods sold out early, the list of places where community-oriented goods can be obtained went viral every moment, becoming a hot topic among the MZ generation. 
Although prepared primarily for digital, TV advertising is expected to expand due to positive reviews from clients and enthusiastic response from consumers.
